Compiling classic portraits from the career of famed photographer Derek Ridgers, ‘Un/Seen’ captures the unique quality each and every subject matter exudes. From a young Nick Cave to a classic Iggy Pop stage shot, Ridgers has been one of the leading photographers documenting the music and club/street culture over the last thirty-five years.

‘Un/Seen’ pulls together 30 definitive photos from The Derek Ridgers archive and is a mixture of portrait, bands, documentary and live shots. Featuring photos of Mick Jagger, Morrissey, The Cramps, David Lynch, JG Ballard, Keith Richards, Leigh Bowery and Tom Waits.

Derek Ridgers is an established and well-known English photographer. He has worked for such newspapers and magazines like NME, The Face, The Independent, The Sunday Telegraph, Time Out and Loaded. His photography was included in Tate Britain’s first photography show, and shown at the V & A, National Portrait Gallery, Proud Gallery and most recently, his iconic shot of Keith Richards was included in The Sunday Times 50th Anniversary Exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea.
